Meriam Alrashid

Meriam Alrashid, Esquire
International Law

Meriam Alrashid is currently practicing law in Washington D.C. Ms. Alrashid received a Master of Laws in International and Comparative Law from The George Washington University; a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she was an intern arbitrator in the law school arbitration clinic; and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology Law and Society from the University of California at Irvine. She is fluent in Arabic.

Ann Augustyn

Ann Sweeney Augustyn, Esquire
Administrative Law

Ann Sweeney Augustyn has worked for the past 23 years as an attorney and Hearing Officer with a federal agency where she has specialized in administrative law practice and procedure. Ms. Augustyn received a Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude in French and Spanish from Boston College where was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Russell Clarke

Russell R. Clark, Esquire
Corporations and Contracts

Mr. Clark is a Washington, DC, attorney. Mr. Clark received a Juris Doctor degree from the University Of Utah College Of Law, a Master of Public Administration degree specializing in business-government relations from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University. He teaches business law, including contracts, UCC and intellectual property, and legislative process and procedures.

Cheryl Miller Johns

Cheryl Miller Johns, Esquire

Cheryl Miller Johns is Assistant Chief Counsel for Telecommunications, Office of Advocacy, US Small Business Administration. She received a Juris Doctor degree from Catholic University, where she was Vice Chancellor of the Jessup Cup International Law Moot Court Competition, and the recipient of The Arnold and Porter Diversity Scholarship and the Presidential Management Fellowship, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Georgetown University. She teaches intellectual property law.

Richard Lieberman

Richard Lieberman is a principal in the Washington DC law firm McCarthy, Sweeney & Harkaway, P.C. Mr. Lieberman received a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Cornell University. Mr. Lieberman is a former Deputy Inspector General and Assistant Inspector General of the Department of Defense. He has taught at the University of Maryland, for Federal Publications Seminars LLC, and for The George Washington University Government Contracts Program and is the author of Elements of Contract Formation (2000) (with Karen R. O'Brien); Elements of Contract Administration (2d Ed., 2001) (with Karen R. O'Brien); Anatomy of an Inspector General Investigation (Federal Publications, 1991-94); Government Contract Compliance: Practical Strategies for Success (George Washington University, 1992-98) , and Elements of Government Contracting (2004) and numerous articles including "Ten Big Mistakes in Government Contract Bidding" (winner of the 2006 Charles J. Delaney Memorial Award, Nat'l Contr. Mgt. Assn.).

Toni Marsh

Toni Marsh is the director of The George Washington University Paralegal Studies master's degree and graduate certificate programs and an Assistant Professor of American Jurisprudence. She received a Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Cleveland State University. She has been a practicing attorney for sixteen years and is the author of Juvenile Law (2006) and American Jurisprudence for Paralegals (2008).

Lawrence Ross

Lawrence Ross is the head of Instructional and Media Services at The George Washington University Law School Jacob Burns Law Library. Mr. Ross received a Juris Doctor degree from the American University Washington College of Law, a Master of Science in Library and Information Science (M.S.L.I.S.) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Brown University.

Marla Wolfe

Marla Rizzo Wolfe is a principal in a small litigation firm serving Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Maryland. Ms. Wolfe received a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from the University of New Orleans. She has been engaged in the practice of law in a variety of settings and venues for some twenty years. She served as Assistant District Attorney under Harry Connick, Sr., in New Orleans.
