Admissions Information
In order to qualify for the Master's Degree, students must first be admitted by the School of Business. Applicants are required to have:
- A Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Relevant professional experience is also considered
- Submission of the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or ILTS for foreign students who are from countries where English is not an official language and those who do not hold a degree from an accredited American institution of higher learning. The Test of Written English (TWE) is also recommended.
 Application Information
The School of Business seeks candidates who have demonstrated potential for management and who have the intellectual ability, maturity, initiative, and creativity to participate in this challenging interdisciplinary environment. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university or an equivalent academic credential from a recognized international institution.
The following are required to apply:
- A completed application with a $60 nonrefundable application fee
- Resume
- Two Letters of Recommendation (academic or professional)
- Statement of Purpose
- Official transcripts for all colleges/universities attended
- Official GMAT score (within 5 years). Make sure to report your score to the GWU Professional MBA program (GMAT code: GK4-4F-28)
- Personal interview with program director

This complete online process allows you to submit your graduate application and electronically send requests for letters of recommendation. For the traditional printed application by mail, please call (202) 973-1130.
Applicants who did not earn their undergraduate degree from a school in the United States and whose primary language is not English must also submit a current score for the TOEFL or ILTS.
