PSLM 201 Theories, Principles, and Practices of Law Firm Management
Nine-day residency presented at GW. Emphasis is placed on emerging trends in the legal market, strategic thinking, economics and profitability of the firm, talent management and leadership, managing client services, management and compensation structures, and managing change.

PSLM 202 Applying Strategic Management
Four-month Online Distance Learning segment between residencies.This portion of the program builds on the topics covered during the nine-day In-Classroom Residency. Using a simulated law firm case study, students will work in groups to prepare market assessments and create strategic plans and merger analyses for the firm, which will be presented and reviewed in the programís third segment. Students will also individually prepare a profitability analysis of one of the firmís practice groups and one of its offices.

PSLM 203 Practical Applications of Law Firm Management
Four-day residency presented at GW.This course is designed to expand and refine understanding and knowledge of concepts presented during the program. Students will present, discuss, and defend their strategic plans for the simulated firm and their analyses and recommendations regarding the proposed merger.These presentations will be made before course instructors and a panel of managing partners and law firm administration professionals. Additional changes to the strategic plans will also be required during these modules.
