Provides broad knowledge of telecommunication security including cryptography, speech and data scrambling, linear and nonlinear transformations. Courses will also introduce electronic warfare such as jamming, anit-jamming, spoofing, hacking and EM pulse.

 Degree Requirements
Students applying to the Master of Science Programs or Graduate Certificate programs are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science with a grade-point average of at least 3.0 (on a scale of 4) or equivalent, for the last 60 credit hours of undergraduate work.
Applicants with degrees in other disciplines and a basic knowledge of mathematics and physical sciences may be admitted with a set of deficiency courses to be determined by a faculty member assigned by the department as the applicant's advisor. Students may register for up to two courses in non-degree status. Formal admission to the master's degree program is required prior to taking a third course.
Admission to the Master of Science Programs is competitive and decisions are made as completed applications are received.
